This slide scanner is used for digitising glass slides. Each slide generates files between 100 MB and 3 GB, depending on the specimen size. This slide scanner can only handle standard histology slides, no large or jumbo slides. When considering using this machine, slides should be professionally coverslip, or a cover slipping automated machine should have been used.
